Women's Day Retreat April 21st 2007: Bridal Falls Area, Tierra de Suenos ~ Tularosa, NM Hike Eat Breathe Play Explore -- So close to home and yet , away from it all!

We will start our morning by packing an organic snack at the Main house to take on a leisurely hike through the Desert to a marvelous Mesa with Vistas of the White Sands and the Majestic Sierra Blanca. Bring your Yoga mat, for gentle Salutation to the Sun. We then hike on to Bridal Falls, a hidden water falls that rumbles it's history of this area. Learn more about Bridal Falls. Play and explore! We then hike back to the Main house, gather and eat a hearty fresh lunch, Jean Ann Mercer, LMT will be available to give chair Massages . More adventure awaits, exploring Tierra de Suenos at the Adobe River House. This is where Donna Stern, Mescalero Apache Tribal Member, will be sharing a womans circle her knowledge and History of the Apache Woman. The Adobe River House sets above the river, cascade down the stairs to the river walk that is nestled under the Cottomwood and Willow trees. Eat lunch by the river, lounge in the Hammock, or explore the Adobe River House and all it's creativity.

The Adobe River House will be ready to rent for 1 or 2 occupancy in September of 2007. It is a perfect space to rent for a weekend or for a couple of weeks. If you like to Hike, Mountain bike, Out-door Photography, Bird watching ( migrant birds come to the river), enjoy a chimineo while enjoying the Big night sky, or just reax by the cozy wood stove this is a perfect getaway. Let the sound and view of the river calm and relax your spirit.
